“One Team, One Mission, One Goal”

That was the theme of Pandi Water District (PanWaDis) Management for this year’s Team-Building Activity held last May 22-24, 2015 at Camp John Hay, Baguio City. The management facilitated a team-building activity to increase positive communication, cooperation, unity and how to solve problems strategically and accurately. It also aims to establish trust and smooth relationship to every employee.

The team building was started with a discussion of what was the objective of the District’s Team Building by GM Elvira B. Santos. She explained that every employee must know the district’s mission, vision and goal. GM Elvie, also discussed different modules with regards to the duties and responsibilities of every employee and encouraged them to be a leader, a leader who also know how to listen and obey the rules of  PanWaDis.

Afterwards, it was followed by different friendly activities and had a competitive competition among the four divisions, the Administration represented in Yellow Team, Finance in Blue Team, Commercial in Red Team, and Technical Division in Green Team.

The management conducted games that challenged every employee to be responsible and to be a team player. Each game had a corresponding objective to meet and to sum up all the activities; it was ended with a peer evaluation.

As what GM Elvie quoted from Henry Ford’s, “Coming together is a beginning, staying together is progress, and working together is success.” indeed it was really the core objective of the team building, to have a good communication and camaraderie within the staff, to have one direction towards success, and to be one family that works together hand-and-hand to serve the nation with honor and dignity.
