The Pandi Water District (PanWaDis) management conducted a First Aid Training Lecture Demonstration to the men and women employees of the agency. The main objective of this activity was to addressed the need to capacitate field and office workforce on how to deal with the minor ailment to the more serious injury to help reduce the risk of infection or the severity of injury. In addtion, said activity enhanced level of awareness and knowledge of PanWaDis male and female staff on basic first aid response and procedures.
This also brought in creation of Emergency Preparedness Action Plan Manual with compliance with Local Water Utilities Administration (LWUA) Memorandum Circular No. 12 s. 2017, through the initiative of GM Elvira Socorro B. Santos in partnering with the Office of the Municipal Fire Marshal -Pandi Fire Station and Philippine Red Cross, Malolos Chapter, PNP- Pandi, Emergency Hospital , Municipal Peace and Order and Public Safety office, Disaster Management of Pandi, MERALCO and Baranggay Chairpersons in the municipality of Pandi plays an important part in the creation of the said manual.
It was of utmost importance that the agency be well prepared for the safety of its employees and for the well being of the continued operation of the government office. This manual was designed to protect lives and properties of Pandi Water District in the event of a natural or technological emergencies. To capacitate the workforce with the most essential competencies which is the ability to save lives. This will help the agency to use the necessary tools to be able to stay safe by having the proper skills and preparation.
