Pandi Water District (PanWaDis) management was also an advocate of persons with different abilities and in line with the celebration to the 10th World Autism Awarenes Day (WAAD) this April, the production and distribution of campaign materials (200 pcs. Bookmarks) were distributed to men and women concessionaires of PanWaDis.
This campaign had its main objective through a simple campaign material to encourage the community to become better supporters of persons with ASD without any judgement and bad conotations.
As Lamar Hardwick, a church pastor who was diagnosed with autism at age 36.“April is Autism Awareness month, but it’s only a month. When April is over, sometimes the awareness goes with it. When April is over sometimes the inspiration disappears. When April is over sometimes autism acceptance becomes less important. “
But for PanWaDis management and family, everyone, inspite of different characteristics and abilities were important to the community!
