100% of men and women employees of Pandi Water District (PanWaDis) participated in this year’s Health Seeking Behavior program and activities- 3rd Inter-Division Duckpin Bowling Tournament 2017 that align with the district’s value statement towards robust work ethics, this tournament was held at Long Meadows Bowling Alley, Mahabang Parang, Sta. Maria, Bulacan.
The opening of this bowling tournament started with a thanksgiving prayer headed by Ms. Janet G. Capiral and followed by singing of the National Anthem.
BOD member Ma. Isabel O. Avendaño, commends GM Elvira Santos for her effort in making the Bowling Tournament a reality during the opening remarks. Apart from the competition, Dir. Avendaño encouraged all the participants to spare some time to enjoy the game and exercise healthy competition. She wishes all participants and staffs for their great success in the games with a memorable impression that will benefit the Pandi Water District in terms of good work performance.
PanWaDis GM Elvira Santos challenged everyone to seriously work towards making a healthy lifestyle that will give birth to a healthy workplace. Sports activity is an excellent way to introduce a health seeking-behavior among men and women employees of PanWaDis. It will foster a positive perspective and boost level of work performance. Sporting activities also promotes good leadership skills and provide an excellent vehicle to raise awareness about the effect of poor lifestyle. Wishing all competitors good luck GM Santos declared the 3rd Inter-Division Duckpin Bowling Tournament open. Ms. Criselda A. Cruz led the Oath of Sportsmanship right after the entrance of six participating groups.
What made this year’s tournament different from the previous years because there was a friendly Muse Competition among female workers and Ms. Jormisel B. Mauricio announced as the Best Muse that will play PanWaDis ambassador for Health and Wellness campaign.
After series of games and bonding moments among the workforce through this health seeking behavior activity, Purple Strikerz won as overall Champion under Category A while Six Shades of Gray under Category B, there were also different group and individual awards given.
After the Health Seeking Behavior activities, men and women employees foster high level of morale, more comfortable with each other and work-life balance improved. This will have a positive impact to Pandi Water District. For our concessionaires/ stakeholders we continuously aim for high standards of wellbeing as our social responsibilities to have more positive public image.
